The hydrological regime of a river is driving force its ecosystem. operation dams and locks has significant impacts on the situation rivers. objective this study was to change variability precipitation data in Senegal River basin assess discharge caused by Manantali hydroelectric dam. Based IHA (Indicators Hydrologic Alteration), range thirty-three parameters calculated alteration associated with functioning dam quantified. Using RVA (Range Variability Approach) method, at Bakel site evaluated showed influence state. results strong regime. fluvial eco-hydrological objectives can constitute certain support for management water resources ecosystems basin.
